Big Mac Switches
This weeks class was interesting. You have so many things when you are deciding on a particular task for your students. Not always are the ones you plan are right. You really need to know your students cognitive and physical abilities in order to develop a program. With our particular task we were developing supports for the bathroom because our had physical and cognitive disabilities. We used the bog mac switch to support this student. Were the instructions do long, could the student understand or was the student able to use the device in the bathroom. I am really enjoying the class this term due to the fact you really have to think beyond the student. Looking forward to learning more next week.

I love how providing AT is so responsive to the individual. It recognizes that one size does not fit all and the person's feeling and abilities matter. That's how I want to be treated. It makes it very challenging from a provider or secondary user perspective. It all comes down to creative problem solving, like everything!
